Fellow snake charmers,
As I mentioned briefly last night, my company is sponsoring a car show & shine at the Kemp Auto Museum on Saturday 9/12 from 10a-3p. The reason for the event is to (1) raise money and collect canned goods for a West County food shelter that my company's 2 Chesterfield offices has "adopted" and (2) as a client appreciation event.
The logistics are as follows: bring a couple of canned goods as an entry fee and your in. Food is being provided by our vendors. For general attendance, our offices are starting by inviting our clients and seeing where it expands from there. I am working on a couple contacts I have at the STL street rod association also. Spectators will also be required to make a food donation to enter.
Should be a fun and relaxing event for a good cause. Would be great to have a couple of our cars show up. If this were 2010, I'd drive my cobra there too ;)
