Last Thurs/Friday, Dean Lampe, Jim Reiss(Houston Hurricane owner) and I all visited the Hurricane Mfg plant. Partially consulting on their new venture, partly to close a deal for Dean on a new car.
Dean has once again joined the Hurricane team, buying the 2nd car of their new production. Dean has previous built and owned a Hurricane, before the Kirkham and GT40. Interesting progression of ownership: B&B - Hurricane - Kirkham - RCR GT40 - Hurricane
Check out the attached photo. Dean is sitting in a partially assembled car, checking out some changes they made to improve footbox space. Looks like he might also be making "Vroom-Vroom" sounds.
The other guy in the picture is Mike McLaughlin, President of Scranton Industries, the owner of Hurricane Motorsports.
Deans plan is to track the car next year with a super big FE
