St. Louis International Auto Show

This next weekend is the annual big show downtown at the convention center. I received a call from T&E Legendary in Ross, Ohio (owner Tom Hoppenjans) - a Shelby dealer where my engine was built and car finished, that they had some big news. One - they will be the newest Superformance dealer. Two -they will have a display at the St. Louis show (along with Fastlane). And Three - they do not have a Superformance car to display.

They'll have a CSX car or two, and Dave/Dean's GT40 - but they want to use MY CAR as a display !!!!!!!!!!

So, if you have a chance to get down to the auto show next week/weekend - look for Fastlane/T&E Legendary Classic display (somewhere near an entrance I'm told) and look for The Blue Beast.

I'm going to try and make it down on Saturday.

Got 'er all shined up (including the inside of the sidepipes) and ready to go. Never looked better. Started it up. Man I miss that sound. GRRRRRRR. The garage filled up with fumes and then my daughter came out. She said Dad I love that smell - Yep - she's a car guy!

If you burn 110 leaded race gas they will look clean all the time! And they smell good. :D

A trip through Southern Illinois even in the winter is a good drive.

Mike, the race gas is a little more stable when it comes to price. It runs about 6 to 6.50 a gallon but it smells so good!:eek: What does a gallon of perfume cost? I'll better the race gas is cheaper.

Personally I wouldn't. Cool Absolutely, but it would also draw attention to possibly what's inside when you park it over night at a hotel. Just saying. Now if they were those Static cling type decals, then go for it and I'd buy some too. ;)

Mine was considerably more and highly optioned - which is why they did not open the hood at the show.
