OddBall, it was Mad Max, the first was a dark movie where he was a trooper, and his family ended up getting killed (which transformed him)...and things began to happen with their society, the second was I believe called Road Warrior, and the thrid was Thunderdome. So Mad Max was the prequel.

Thunderdome sucked IMHO.

Mad Max was a cult classic. Loved the gyro copter, and also the Mad Max mobile, with the remote self destruct switch located up under the transmission tunnel, with his hidden knife!
