I bought the wix model for mine, in the exact colors. Expensive, but very nice, working suspension, steering, etc. E-bay

The first one in my paint color was $80 dollars shipped. The second 9(same color) I got for $45 for my dad who has helped on the build.
I picked up a blue/white from O'reily (same wix model) for $25.
The Wix is the only model I have seen with the two tone silver paint.

Scott, if you go down to your garage you will see that you already have a model of a Cobra, you just need to put it together.

It was a put it together cast model with some plastic interior and engine parts. You get to choose from two types of wheels/tires. My son and I assembled it in about 5 minutes.

Well that's an idea...and it would be my Alma Mater's school color's - Kansas State: Silver (gray) and Purple...
Our virtual paint artist at ffc is on vacation for a few weeks, said he won't be able to do new schemes until after mid-August.

David,
The prices do look high at first glance but these are not all "toy store" cars. You will only find Kyosho, Exoto, GMP and some of the other brands at specialty shops like D.I.M.. I've got limited editions that I paid $100-$150 for years ago that are now trading for over $1,000 so in a small way, some are "investment quality". Jay Nordstom gave up his numbers matching set of #98 cars like I got for $350 and they brought $1,350 at the London auction in 2006. Yep, he's serious :D.

Dave, you may want to check here - http://www.fairfieldmint.com/index.html and check at FastLane Sunday while there as they have a very large collection of diecast. They have one in Silver/Black, but different wheels than you have. Oh, of course this site - http://www.franklinmint.com/
