Anyone going to stop drinking Bud products due to the change in ownership? http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q234/Hawgwild06/Smilies/trink39.gifhttp://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q234/Hawgwild06/Smilies/alc.gif

Yeah...and start drinking some real (New) Belgium beer! Not the fake stuff labeled under a different brand (AB-InBev).
I'll stick with my Colorado Micro-Brew thank you very much!

Come on, you knew that was coming...

Speaking of beer, anyone try Bud Light Lime yet? I'm pretty old fashion when it comes to my drinkin but I tried one of these and I could see where one could get in trouble because they go down very easy. In fact, I'm not sure there would be a safe lamp shade in the house if all I had in the fridge was BL Lime.;)

I used to drive across that river for 5 years. I see where they get there water!!!!! I'll take a good Miller lite any day. (I have seen that river also, but I didn't have to look at/or smell it everyday)

I've tried the BL lime and thought it tasted pretty good. Especially on a hot day. I'm just a contractor for AB, but I do occasionally get some free cases. I have to say that I don't really turn my nose up at a free beer. I like most of the AB products, but I've drank plenty of the foreign stuff too when I was in the service. I'll probably still drink the AB products, at least until they start changing the recipes to be more "efficient" aka cheap. Mike, I'll pick up a couple cases of the BL lime next month. Later ;)

I like BL lime too, especially after it sits for about 10 minutes after opening and seems to mello slightly and let the lime flavor come through. Cutting back on AB products will only serve to hurt the local economy and give Brito an excuse to lay people off so I'm not changing any buying habits.

You all have made me really thirsty for a BL Lime...
I will still drink AB, just in moderation with my other favorites...just like to give H/W a hard time!
My grandfather was employed and retired from AB as a refrigeration/boiler maker specialist. He often frowned upon my father who drank Coors.
Craig,
Maybe over in god's country you guys have different water (well supply), but where do you think all of our drinking water around St. Louis comes from???? I'd rather have some alcohol mixed in with the Mississippi brown sludge to make it go down easier!

Hey it's not fair to be talking about BL before I'm out of here. It's Friday and it's not 5:00 here.

Just trying to ruffle some feathers!!! You are talking to a guy who grew up drinking PBR and Red White and Blue after putting up hay on the farm all day. It never has tasted so good.
I also started making home made wine when I was 15. Didn't have to buy alchol that way!!! Still make quite a bit of it too, it always seems very potent.
Give me a 12 pack of Beast light bottles and a good gravel backroad anyday!!! (Just kidding, but that used to be the norm, very cheap and you could hit street signs with them)

TBull - hope you are not one of the "415 contractor positions" they are eliminating by years end...
Thanks A-B InBev!

Right now it hasn't affected the BEC parks side. I'm loaded with work, but like most stuff, that could change in a heartbeat. Just keeping my head down and working toward being that indispensable guy. :)
