If you're into making your car look as original as possible, that often involves Ford parts - stuff that isn't readily available off the shelf. An example is the voltage regulator.

Mark pointed out the "tall" relay style regulator on Kevin's car. When you buy one from O'Reillys (or Autozone, NAPA or whomever), you get the current electronic style that is half the height (but also half the problems of the old ones). You can purchase the old style, or just the cover that installs on the electronic version. Best of Both Worlds.

National Parts Depot carry's all kinds of old re-pop parts. This is a link to the catalog pages for the voltage regulator.

Just a few bucks and you can look original too
