I have decided to go to more cubes and need to sell my 302. This is a remanufactured stock engine I bought as a longblock still new in the crate and built it up from there. I put 1800 miles on it in the original stock form. Last winter I put a set of Dart Pro 1 heads on it and have since driven 1400 miles. So the engine has only 3200 miles total and runs great.
Here is a list of what is on the engine:
Stock 302 roller engine w/stock cam
Dart Pro 1 195 w/64cc chambers
Scorpion roller rockers 1.6 ratio
Comp Cam Magnum push rods
ARP head bolts
Weiand action Plus dual plane intake
Holley 1850S 600 cfm carb Vac sec/manual choke
Offset 14" K/N style airfilter
MSD Billett 8582 distributor w/new roller gear
Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro custom wires
Cobra D302 aluminum valve covers
Rear sump stock oil pan
Power steering pump (stock Ford)
Stock Ford alternator (new in 2010)
March passenger side alt mount
New flywheel
Zoom mu48-1 clutch
New water pump
All pulleys included
This engine is currently running and drives perfect. It has never seen boost or NOS and has always had a rev-limiter set at 5600 rpm for 1st 1000 miles then raised to 5800 rpm. If anyone wants to have a second opinion just contact any of the local St Louis roadster guys as they have all seen the engine run and several of them have ridden in or driven the car. I welcome anyone interested to go for a ride and see how good the engine runs. If you want to pick up the engine we can go for a spin and then pull the engine out while still warm. I can ship for actual cost if necessary. I will also drive up to 150 miles to deliver it/ meet. Please PM any questions you may have about this great running engine.
Asking $2500 OBO ready to run with everything listed above. I still have the stock heads if someone wants to get into a cheaper stock alternative, I can seperate the Dart heads from the engine.
