• January 2017 Car of the Month

The January 2017 Car of the Month belongs to Rick & Elizabeth. Rick purchased the car in 2010 and began working on removing the custom exhaust work that had been done by the previous owner. Rick had his car together and in primer by March of 2012 and on the road just in time for cruising season You can view Rick's build thread here - Build Thread as well as many build pictures on his photobucket page.

After driving for a season or two in plain yellow, Rick added stripes for the full effect

The engine is a 347 that puts out 328 rwhp mated to a t-5 transmission with the S-10 mid shift mod.

    Other mods include:
Baer 4 piston disc brakes on all 4 corners
Dual master cylinder with balance bar
    Gasn Performance SS side pipes
Dark Water glove box and trunk box
    Mike Everson hidden trunk hinges
    Ford Probe self-cancelling turn signals
    Dual roll bars

Winter of 2015/2016 Rick did the final prep on the body, built a garage paint booth and painted the car Ford race red with artic white stripes and applying a Cobra Decal under the hood before applying the clear coat. Great job Rick! Looking forward to more miles this driving season.
