Checking my front wheels for play, I found there was some amount of movement as I tried to rock them top/bottom, they typical check for balljoint wear. But the ball joints weren't worn.
Digging into it deeper, I found my wheel bearings were not adjusted properly. When I last repacked the bearings, apparently I got in a hurry and didn't set the bearing preload properly.
Not a big task to do but something that will definitely affect the way your car handles.
